If there has been one constant for every birthday I’ve ever had in the past four decades, it’s the generic birthday card that I get from my mother – you know the kind, the one that comes in the box of 50 blank cards that has a picture of a kitty or a vase of flowers on the front – signed “Happy Birthday! Love, Mom & Dad” in pretty cursive.
Except I didn’t get one this year. She forgot.
😦
Oh No!! 😦 Happy Birthday to you!! {{Hugs}}
So sorry to hear this. Hard, even when you know it is not intentional.
Sorry DD.
My mom forgot both mine and Maggie’s this year. I’m not holding my breath to see if she remembers Will’s on the 27th.
My grandma has forgotten to call and say “happy birthday” on my birthday because we usually celebrate birthdays on Sundays with family. She always feels horrible but I know it was never on purpose.
Hope your birthday was fabulous otherwise!
Sorry – it’s happened to me too.
I’m really sorry.
So sad.
I’m sorry.
I’m so sorry. That must be so hard – on both of you.
Oh D. Hugs to you.
